Stamford, December 1 - Randy Orton has officially cemented his place on the blue brand. His much-anticipated return to WWE occurred at Survivor Series: WarGames on November 25, where he emerged as the fifth member of Cody Rhodes' team.

Despite not being drafted in the 2023 draft, rendering him a free agent, Orton's allegiance has now been solidified on WWE SmackDown, as he inked the deal on December 1. The moment unfolded as Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis fervently vied for The Apex Predator's allegiance.

Pearce, dangling the enticing offer of a WWE World Heavyweight Championship match, sought to secure Orton for his brand. Meanwhile, Aldis pledged The Bloodline's support in a bid to sway Orton.

Adding to the drama, Paul Heyman entered the scene, delivering a captivating promo before Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa rushed in to assault Orton. A timely intervention by LA Knight shifted the momentum, leading to a victory for the babyfaces. Seizing the opportunity, Orton incapacitated Jimmy Uso with his signature draping DDT and RKO, creating a defining moment.

With both contracts in hand, Orton, after a lingering stare at Paul Heyman, discarded the RAW contract, symbolically tossing it behind him. Instead, he opted to sign the SmackDown paperwork, doing so with a flourish over Jimmy Uso's prone body. As the Brooklyn crowd erupted in "RANDY" chants, Orton tossed the signed contract onto Jimmy before concluding the show with an additional RKO on Nick Aldis, cementing his presence on the blue brand.
