New Update On Salman Khan's Family Drama Film 'Prem Ki Shaadi' With Sooraj Barjatya

Mumbai, July 20 - Superstar Salman Khan's family drama film "Prem Ki Shaadi" with director Sooraj Barjatya has been in the news over the last few weeks for some reasons. Recently, reports emerged that things are moving fast in the right direction and that the film will go on floors in August this year.
There have been no official words from the makers regarding "Prem Ki Shaadi" and its shooting details. Now, according to Pinkvilla, the much-awaited movie won't be starting anytime soon and it will go on floors only after Salman Khan completes "Tiger vs Pathaan" which will commence filming early next year.
"Salman Khan and Sooraj Barjatya are definitely doing a film together. but it will kick off next year. Sooraj will invest all his energies in the script once his son, Avnish’s debut, Dono, hits the big screen", the report says.
"Prem Ki Shaadi" is an ambitious project which revolves around a nuclear family. Sooraj Barjatya has reportedly locked the core plot of the film but he will start working on the screenplay only after his son Avnish's directorial debut movie "Dono" hits big screens later this year.
The filmmaker will reportedly take 4-5 months to complete the screenplay and then another 4 months of pre-productions. He is planning to shoot the film with Salman over a period of 100 to 120 days and it will take off once Salman Khan wraps up shooting for "Tiger vs Pathaan" with Shah Rukh Khan.
Meanwhile, Salman will take up a new project before TvP and it is said that director Vishnu Vardhan's film is the front-runner to be his next. Produced by Karan Johar, the movie is expected to start rolling in November this year and be ready to release on Diwali next year.
