Here is the full match card and everything you need to know about the NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 17 which will take place on January 4, 2023, at the Tokyo Dome, in Tokyo, Japan.

This will mark the 32nd January 4 Tokyo Dome Show and the 17th promoted under the Wrestle Kingdom name. The event is set to honor the company's founder Antonio Inoki, who died on October 1, 2022.



The event is getting a huge response from fans around the world as it's set to feature appearances from wrestlers signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW), WWE, World Wonder Ring Stardom (Stardom), and Pro Wrestling Noah (Noah).

The January 4 Tokyo Dome Show is NJPW's biggest annual event and has been called "the largest professional wrestling show in the world outside of the United States" and the "Japanese equivalent to the Super Bowl".

The event card is an absolute banger as it features some of the greatest superstars in the world. The main will be for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship between Jay White (c) and Kazuchika Okada. In another prominent match, Will Ospreay defends the IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship against non-other than Kenny Omega.

Yuji Nagata, Satoshi Kojima and Togi Makabe vs. Tatsumi Fujinami, Minoru Suzuki and Tiger Mask Antonio Inoki Memorial: six-man tag team match

Catch 2/2 (TJP and Francesco Akira) (c) (with Gideon Grey) vs. LiYoh (Lio Rush and Yoh): Tag team match for the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship

Kairi (c) vs. Tam Nakano: Singles match for the IWGP Women's Championship

FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) (c) vs. Bishamon (Hirooki Goto and Yoshi-Hashi): Tag team match for the IWGP Tag Team Championship

Zack Sabre Jr. vs. Ren Narita: Tournament final for the inaugural NJPW World Television Championship

Karl Anderson (c) (with Luke Gallows) vs. Tama Tonga (with Jado): Singles match for the NEVER Openweight Championship

Keiji Muto, Hiroshi Tanahashi and Shota Umino vs. Los Ingobernables de Japon (Tetsuya Naito, Sanada and Bushi): Six-man tag team match - This will be Muto's last NJPW match.

Taiji Ishimori (c) vs. El Desperado vs. Hiromu Takahashi vs. Master Wato: Four-way match for the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship

NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 17 Rumors:

Former WWE SmackDown Women’s and Women’s Tag Team Champion Naomi, real name Trinity Fatu, confirmed through her Instagram Stories that she is in Tokyo, Japan, ahead of Wednesday’s NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 17 event from the Tokyo Dome.

Plush, Mercedes Varnado, formerly known as Sasha Banks, is reportedly set to appear at the Wrestle Kingdom 17 event.
