Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson On Possibly Running For President: 'I Think Down The Road, For Sure'

Los Angeles, 15 November - The greatest professional wrestler of all time, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has previously hinted that he might run for president in the future. The Rock mentioned this on a podcast that he was approached by a party to maybe run for president, run for office.
He has spoken positively about the idea of entering politics in the past, and he has recently said that he is open to the possibility of running for president.
During a recent interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Dwayne Johnson was asked if he Would Consider Running for President in the Future.
"It's crazy. And it's wild. This run-for-president talk has kind of been in the ether for the past couple of years. And it just -- it never stops being surreal. It was incredible. They came from DC. We sat down. It's -- The poll was something like almost 50% of Americans would support me running for president. It was just crazy. But it's like -- Dude, we've talked about this.
It's like not too long ago -- You know, years ago, I was wrestling in flea markets for 40 bucks per match, hoping that, hey, I just want a free corn dog at the end of the night. Exactly, And now here we are, years later, I'm sitting with you, and this talk has come up, and it's real, and I'm so grateful. So if you are of the almost 50%, I thank you. Tequila on me, by the way. I appreciate it."
Jimmy Fallon further asked him if this be something that he would ever consider.
"I think down the road, for sure," The Rock responded.
The Rock recently returned to WWE On September 15, 2023, making a surprise return to SmackDown to take out Austin Theory. This marks his first televised appearance on WWE since October 4, 2019. He is also in much-talk about headlining the 2024 WrestleMania with Roman Reigns.
