Chicago, 19 November - AEW hosted another spectacular event in the form of AEW Full Gear, which took place on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at the Kia Forum in the Los Angeles suburb of Inglewood, California.
Tony Khan, the president of All Elite Wrestling (AEW), announced that the recent AEW Full Gear pay-per-view (PPV) event drew over 13,000 fans at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, California. Khan also mentioned that the PPV garnered "well over" 100,000 buys, making it the most attended Full Gear in the history of the pay-per-view. He had previously stated that the pay-per-view numbers were on track to surpass AEW WrestleDream.
The match card featured a total of eleven matches, including three on the "Zero Hour" pre-show. The main event was headlined by MJF defending the AEW World Championship against Jay White. In other notable matches, "Timeless" Toni Storm defeated Hikaru Shida to secure her record-tying third AEW Women's World Championship, and Swerve Strickland emerged victorious over "Hangman" Adam Page in a Texas Death match.
Furthermore, the event featured an intriguing segment with Will Ospreay signing with AEW, despite his contract with New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) set to expire in February 2024.
