Bellamkonda Ganesh, the brother of Bellamkonda Srinivas debuted as a Hero with the film Swathimutyam. The trailer looked interesting and let's see how the film is.
STORY:
Hero and heroine will meet at a coffee shop as the meet is scheduled by their respective parents in the process of matchmaking. They both love each other and accept Marriage. Just before the wedding, a twist arises and the marriage gets canceled. What is the twist? How the lead pair unites and marry forms the rest of the story.
ARTISTS' PERFORMANCES:
This is the debut movie for Ganesh and he suited the innocent guy role. In some places he is dull but overall his acting is decent. He should be appreciated for coming up with such a Novel concept right from his first movie. If he continues to select good scripts and make different films then he will strengthen his position as a lead actor.
Varsha Bollama is beautiful and her acting is very Natural. Her smile and expressions are lovable. She shares good chemistry with the hero. Rao Ramesh got a meaty role and he excelled well. Goparaju Ramana and Naresh duo gave hilarious laughs in this movie. Vennela Kishore is okay and the rests others did their part well.
TECHNICAL ASPECTS:
Even though the movie is made on a small budget, the production values looked rich on screen. The cinematography is good and the editing is superb as the movie’s runtime is nearly 2 hours. Music and BGM by Mahathi Swara Sagar are the backbones of the film. The songs are good to the ears and the BGM is smooth which elevated the movie to the next level.
Coming to the director Lakshman K Krishna, has done a superb job with this film. The movie has the novel concept of Surrogacy which is considered a Socialistic Taboo. But the director has dealt with the movie in a mature manner which is neat and decent. The director should be lauded for showcasing an adult concept in a decent manner that entertains the family audience.

CONCLUSION:
The movie starts off slow with the introduction of characters and a love story that is routine but not boring. The main plot is introduced during Pre-interval and from then the movie picks up well. The second half is hilarious with funny situational comedy scenes. The director had just taken the Main subject from the Hindi film Vicky donor but narrated it with a different story and screenplay. There is a lot of scope to explore the surrogacy concept and give some message to the audience but the movie is narrated in a simple funny manner without serious messages or emotional scenes. It is common that Elderly people to stay away from speaking about Taboo concepts. The makers used this idea and churned out situational comedy in the second half which worked out well. Even though there is an adult concept, the movie has no bad language or adult scenes and can be enjoyed with family. If you are okay with a routine love story in the beginning then undoubtedly Swathimutyam will entertain you and recommended to watch it.
