Thalapathy Vijay Joins Social Media Platform Instagram

Chennai, April 2 - Thalapathy Vijay, who prefers to stay away from the social limelight, has officially joined the photo-sharing social media platform, Instagram.

The superstar is already on Twitter, however, he occasionally uses this microblogging site to share first-look photos of his movies and movie trailers. He currently has 4.4 million followers on Twitter while on Instagram, he is racing towards the 1 million followers mark.



Thalapathy Vijay joined Instagram around 4 PM on April 2nd and within two hours, he gained over 700K followers. He announced his arrival on Instagram by sharing a picture of him which has nearly 700K likes and over 80K comments at the time of writing this.

Meanwhile, Thalapathy is currently shooting for his next film, the action thriller LEO under the direction of Lokesh Kanagaraj. It also stars Trisha Krishnan, and Sanjay Dutt, among others in prominent roles. The film is scheduled to release on October 19, 2023, in multiple languages.
