Nandamuri Kalyan Ram Officially Confirms 'Bimbisara 2' At The Success Meet of The Film

Hyderabad, August 6 - Nandamuri Kalyan Ram has officially confirmed the sequel to Bimbisara after seeing the blockbuster start of the film. The Telugu film industry was looking for a big hit for the last two months and seems it finally has in the form of this fantasy action film, which was released on August 5.
Directed by Mallidi Vasishta, Bimbisara received a very good reception from the critics and audiences and witnessed packed theaters from the evening shows onwards for the first time. This was enough indication of an excellent weekend the movie is going to have.
Nandamuri Kalyan Ram made a historic comeback, and director Vassishta scored a blockbuster on his debut. Thrilled by the excellent response from the audience, the film unit celebrated the success of the film today and expressed their gratitude to the Telugu audience in a press conference yesterday for making Bimbisara such a huge blockbuster.
During the press conference, Kalyan Ram said that the Bimbisara was mounted on a big scale but Bimbisara 2 will be bigger than the first part. Previously, at the trailer launch event of the film, Kalyan Ram had said that Bimbisara would be a three-part franchise as they have several plans to expand the scale of the film into a franchise.
Meanwhile, Kalyan Ram will next be seen in Devil: The British Secret Agent, which will be a Pan India release. It is a dark mystery film directed by Naveen Medaram and produced by Abhishek Nama under the Abhishek Pictures banner.
The actor underwent a remarkable transformation to play the British Secret Agent and his dress and look are in perfect sync with the trend in the 40s. The story dates back to 1945 and is set in the backdrop of Madras Residency Of British India.
