Mumbai, April 1 - After the once-in-a-lifetime kind of box office performance with Pathaan, the focus has now shifted to superstar Shah Rukh Khan's next mass entertainer
Jawan which is nearing its shoot completion.
Directed by Atlee Kumar, Jawan has been in production since last year and as per the latest reports, it will be wrapped up by mid-April. According to Peepingmoon.com, "Jawan's principal photography will be completed by April 5, and then the team will head to shoot the final two songs".
The film stars Nayanthara as the female lead and Deepika Padukone in a crucial cameo role. The report says that SRK has a romantic track with Nayanthara and a mass song with Deepika and both musical numbers will be filmed between April 7 and April 20 in Mumbai.
There are speculations that the film might get postponed from June 2 release, however, the latest report indicates that it is well on track for its original scheduled date. The post-production is happening simultaneously and the team is sure that it will be finished on time.
Produced by SRK's Red Chillies Entertainment, Jawan is a true blue Pan India flick with an ensemble cast from various film industries on board, including Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Yogi Babu, Sunil Grover, Ridhi Dogra, and two special and pivotal cameos by Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Dutt.
