Ranbir Kapoor And Alia Bhatt To Headline A Rom-Com Together After 'Brahmastra' Success?

Mumbai, September 14 - Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, who tied the knot earlier this year, headlined their first film together and that is director Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra Part One: Shiva. The movie has been released in theaters and doing well at the box office.
According to the latest reports, the real-life couple is super happy with the audience's response to the movie that they are planning to do a romantic-comedy real soon. It is said that both Ranbir and Alia were approached many times in the past but things didn't materialize back then and now, they are looking to explore more films and are likely to do a rom-com soon.
According to India Today, "Both Ranbir and Alia were waiting for Brahmastra's release before deciding to work in a film again. They wanted to get feedback from the audience to explore more films in the future. They were offered films in the past, but the duo said no to them".
"However, the success of Brahmastra is making them explore more options together. They wish to do a romantic comedy together. About Brahmastra, they are really happy with the feedback received. In the future, if any offer comes to them, they will consider if it is good", the source reveals.
Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt previously said during the promotion of "Darlings" that she would love to produce a film featuring Ranbir Kapoor.
On the work front, Alia will next star in "Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani" with Ranveer Singh while she also has "Jee Le Zara" with Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif. She will also be making her Hollywood debut with the film, "Heart Of Stone". Ranbir, on the other hand, will star next in "Animal" and Luv Ranjan's untitled rom-com, co-starring Shraddha Kapoor.
