Mumbai, February 6 - Shah Rukh Khan's "Pathaan", after a big second weekend, is sustaining well on its second Monday as collections heading towards the double-digit mark. According to early estimates, the spy actioner scored an estimated around 9-10 crores net, depending on night shows.
"Pathaan" being a frontloaded film is showing incredible hold on weekdays, keeping the dream of reaching 500 crores net alive. The advance booking collection for Monday was on the lower side but the spot booking remained pretty good, which is expected from a mass blockbuster.
The second Monday collections of the Siddharth Anand-directed flick will take the total collections to a little over 440 crores net box office mark depending on where the actual second Monday numbers fall. The Hindi language collection of "Pathaan" is around 425 crores net after 13 days and it will surpass "KGF 2" (435 crores) by tomorrow or a day after to become the second biggest Hindi grosser of all time.
The film has emerged as a huge mega blockbuster at the box office and this is certainly among the top 5 biggest blockbusters ever in the hugely sustaining career of Shah Rukh Khan along with Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jaayenge, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Karan Arjun, and Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham.
