Mumbai, September 8 - The executive director and film exhibitor at Gaiety Galaxy and Maratha Mandir, Manoj Desai said that Bollywood superstars like Salman Khan, Shah Rukh, Aamir Khan, and Akshay Kumar should never retire from Bollywood.

During a recent interaction with Bollywood Hungama, Manoj Desai was asked if the era of Khans is over and if they should retire, to which, he said that he doesn't think they should retire. "Chintu Ji (Rishi Kapoor) was a superstar before he started doing roles of father, uncle, etc. Whenever Khans feel that they are old, they should start doing character roles but don't leave the industry".



He went on to say that "The public has loved you over the years and because of them, you (Khans) have become superstars. It is the public, producers, and directors who have made you Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, and Akshay Kumar".

Manoj Desai is one of the most respected names in the film exhibition sector. His Gaiety Galaxy and Maratha Mandir have seen many actors becoming superstars. He has always believed in lower ticket prices for movies and hence, the ticket prices in his multiplex always remain affordable for every section of the audience.
