Director Abhishek Sharma To Next Direct An Action Thriller With The Backdrop of Covid Virus?

Mumbai, April 22 - Director Abhishek Sharam's last directorial film Ram Setu starring Akshay Kumar underperformed at the box office. Despite being a popular subject, the film was criticized for poor writing and direction.

Abhishek is now gearing up to start his next film and as per reports, he is working on a script that is about controversies surrounding the coronavirus and how it caused a global pandemic that claimed millions of lives.



According to Bollywood Hungama, the filmmaker has finished the script which is an espionage thriller set in the backdrop of Wuhan or covid Virus. It's not a movie on the pandemic but instead, a larger-than-life action drama that uncovers the origin story of the Covid virus that stopped the entire world.

The report further added that the movie will be produced by Mahaveer Jain with Abhishek Sharma and it will be their second collaboration after "Ram Setu". An A-lister is expected to come on board to headline this yet-untitled film.
