Aamir Khan Backs Out From Doing 'Champeones' Remake

Mumbai, November 14 - Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan will no longer act in the Hindi remake of the Spanish film Champeones (Champions).

"Champeones" was supposed to be Aamir Khan's next film and was supposed to start production in December this year. However, due to the debacle result of his last film "Laal Singh Chaddha" which was also a remake of the Hollywood film "Forest Gump", Aamir has decided against doing it, instead, he will produce the film.



During the media interaction, Aamir Khan shared he wants to take a break before starting his next film. He said that "Champeones" is a wonderful script, it's a beautiful story, and it's a very heartwarming and lovely film. He will produce it with Sony Pictures India and 200NotOut Productions.

The script and screenplay of "The Champeones" remake are locked and the makers will announce the lead actor by the end of this year. The movie is expected to start production in 2023. Aamir, on the other hand, is yet to announce his next film as an actor but reports say he is reading multiple scripts.
