'Pushpa: The Rise' Wins Film Of The Year Award At Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival 2022

Mumbai, February 21 - Telugu superstar Allu Arjun, and Rashmika Mandanna's box office blockbuster "Pushpa - The Rise" has been awarded with Film of The Year at the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards 2022. ## Held in Mumbai on Sunday (Feb. 20), the award ceremony honored the best movies, shows, and artists of 2021 with this prestigious award. "Pushpa - The Rise" has been a trendsetting film during the covid-19 pandemic. Bheemla Nayak Advance Booking Put On Hold In Telangana!

Hyderabad, February 19 - The advance booking for Pawan Kalyan-starrer upcoming Telugu movie "Bheemla Nayak", scheduled to release on February 25th, has reportedly been put on hold in Telangana state over service charge by the online ticketing portals. ## According to a report by Great Andhra, the Telugu film industry has taken a strong stand against online ticketing portals for abnormal ticket prices. It is learnt that the film industry is not happy with Book My Show and other platforms for charging high service charges which are resulting in low footfalls in theaters. ## The report has suggested that exhibitors have been asked to sell the cinema tickets only at the booking counters in theatres till the issue is settled. This decision has been taken to avoid the huge burden of higher ticket prices on audiences and encourage them to visit theaters to watch movies. ## Confirming this, Sirish, the distributor for Pawan Kalyan-starrer "Bheemla Nayak" in the Nizam area, said (via Great Andhra) that "For some days, the sale of tickets would be done at the counters in the theatres". ## In the past few years, ticket prices have gone up abnormally due to the higher commission charge by Book My Show. This has resulted in a reduction in theatre footfall. So, the industry has felt it would be better to revert back to the old system of selling tickets at the booking counters in theatres. Pawan Kalyan's 'Bheemla Nayak' Cracks Huge Post-Theatrical Streaming Deal?

Hyderabad, February 19 - Telugu superstar Pawan Kalyan's upcoming movie, "Bheemla Nayak" is getting a lot of attention. The action thriller, which is gearing up for the theatrical release on February 25th, also stars Rana Daggubati along with Nithya Menen, and Samyuktha Menon in prominent roles. ## According to the latest reports, the makers of "Bheemla Nayak" have already cracked a deal for the film's post-theatrical OTT release. The movie will reportedly be streaming on two OTT platforms after completing its theatrical run. ## While the official confirmation is yet to be made, the movie has reportedly been sold for a whopping price of Rs. 70 crores for the digital premiere. Disney+Hotstar and Telugu OTT platform, Aha Video has bagged the streaming rights. However, it is not yet confirmed which OTT platform will have premiere first rights. Box Office Prediction: Bheemla Nayak To Outshine Its Big Competitors At The Box Office?

Hyderabad, February 19 - The happy days for the theater owners are just around the corner as the box office chatter is making noise among the fans and trade. The big-screen magic will be shining bright again after the moments of ups and downs in the last two years of the covid-19 pandemic. ## The last weekend of February 2022 will see three of the most-awaited Indian movies hitting theaters in the form of Ajith Kumar's "Valimai" on Feb. 24, Pawan Kalyan's "Bheemla Nayak" on Feb. 25, and Alia Bhatt-fronted "Gangubai Kathiawadi" on Feb. 25. Interestingly, all three movies will have multilingual releases, thus making things tough for one another at the box office. ## Though there are a couple of other movies too to release during the same weekend such as the Telugu movie "Aadaalloo Meeku Johaarlu", starring Sharwanand and Rashmika Mandanna, the real battle to emerge box office king, however, will be among the three aforementioned films, especially between "Valimai", and "Bheemla Nayak". ## As far as the box office numbers are concerned, Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati-starrer Telugu movie "Bheemla Nayak", might outshine the other releases. The movie is seen as the potential highest-grossing film for Pawan Kalyan. It will also be released in the Hindi dubbed version, however, that is unlikely to add extra fuel to it since there is no sign of promotion in Hindi yet. But who knows what destiny has in its store for this biggie. ## Pawan Kalyan's last film, "Vakeel Saab", opened to huge Rs. 40.10 crores net at the Indian box office. It is the biggest opening day record for a Pawan Kalyan movie to date, but it might be broken by "Bheemla Nayak". The upcoming actioner is creating more hype and buzz is surreal around it that makes this big-ticket a movie to watch out for at the box office. ## When it comes to hype and buzz, no other movie can match Ajith Kumar's Tamil tentpole "Valimai", which will be released a day before Pawan Kalyan-fronted. Ajith is one of the biggest stars in Tamil Nadu and his movies often gained a lot of attention. "Valimai" might become Ajith Kumar's biggest grosser of all time. His "Viswasam" is currently the biggest film with a worldwide collection of approx. 200 crores. ## "Valimai", directed by H Vinoth, will also be released in Hindi, Telugu, and Kannada dubbed versions. It might make noise at the Hindi box office where it has to compete with Alia Bhatt-fronted "Gangubai Kathiawadi". In the Hindi circuit, "Valimai" is expected to release on over 1000 screens. It could open between Rs. 30-35 crores at the Indian box office.## The Sanjay Leela Bhansali-directed "Gangubai Kathiawadi" is sure to take a good opening. The flow of releases which stopped for a while after the Xmas period has seen new releases on the ongoing weekend. Though there was not a single major release except Ravi Teja's Khiladi, it is always a positive sign when many small films are running in the cinemas. ## Speaking about the box office collections on 11th February, Khiladi fronted by Ravi Teja has come out as a winner with a 7.85 Cr Gross opening day collection however, looking at the size of the film Khiladi is, the opening is decent only. ## The next best collections came from FIR with a 2.20 Cr Gross collection. Producer Naga Vamsi Spill The Beans On Jr. NTR's Film With Trivikram Srinivas

Hyderabad, February 11 - Telugu superstar Jr. NTR announced in 2021 that he would be collaborating with Trivikram Srinivas again for a Pan-India movie. The duo had earlier joined hands for "Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava", which was released in October 2018 and was a box office hit. ## Haarika & Hassine Creations, which had produced "Aravinda Sametha", announced in January 2021 that the action-director duo will be reuniting for another film. However, there were some reports that all is not well between them and the movie was reportedly shelved. Later, Trivikram picked Mahesh Babu's film, which was recently launched in Hyderabad while NTR joined hands with Koratal Siva for his next. ## Now, it seems that Jr. NTR's film with the ace filmmaker will be produced by Naga Vamsi under his banner Sithara Entertainments. The concept of the movie is really interesting, and NTR will be seen in a never-before role.
