Allu Arjun's 'Pushpa 2 - The Rule' Digital Rights Sold To Netflix For All-Time Record Amount

Hyderabad, April 18 - Telugu superstar Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2 - The Rule has already turned into a massive profitable venture even before its release as the makers are fetching unheard theatrical and non-theatrical deals for this action drama. ## Recently, it was revealed that the Hindi theatrical rights of the film have been sold at a huge 200 crores in advance to AA Films. Hyderabad, April 1 - Siddhu Jonnalagadda and Anupama Parameswaran's romantic crime comedy film Tillu Square, a sequel to 2022's blockbuster film DJ Tillu, has emerged as a big success within the opening weekend itself. ## Directed by Mallik Ram, the sequel is wreaking havoc at the box office and is performing like a top-tier hero movie and the hype generated after the first movie took the sequel to the next level in terms of the box office potential.## Tillu Square, in its opening weekend, grossed a solid estimated 55 crores at the worldwide box office. India, the movie amassed around 37.50 crores gross while overseas business is an estimated 18 crores after the first 3-day weekend. ## Produced by Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, the overseas biz of the film is driven by North America where the movie grossed a huge $1.8 million (15 crores) in the opening weekend which is truly remarkable.## The opening weekend collection of Tillu Square has made it the third highest-grossing Telugu movie of 2024, behind mega-blockbuster Hanuman (295 crores) and superstar Mahesh Babu's Guntur Kaaram (181 crores). Box Office: Tillu Square Outgrossed DJ Tillu's Lifetime Collection In 2 Days

Hyderabad, March 30 - Siddhu Jonnalagadda's romantic crime comedy film Tillu Square, a sequel to his blockbuster DJ Tillu (2022), took a sensational opening at the worldwide box office, grossing 70% of its predecessor's lifetime collection on the first day itself. ## The much-talked-about sequel opened to positive reports all over which led to the excellent collection at the box office. Directed by Malik Ram, Tillu Square scored a huge 23 crore gross collection worldwide, including approximately 13 crore in India and 10 crore at the overseas box office on its first day. ## DJ Tillu, which was released in February 2022, had grossed approximately 30.50 crores globally in its lifetime run, which has been outgrossed by its sequel on its second day only. 'Salaar: Part 2 - Shouryanga Parvam' Shooting To Commence In April 2024

Hyderabad, March 4 - Superstar Prabhas-fronted Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire was a big success, grossing over 600 crores at the worldwide box office. The Prashanth Neel's directorial announced the film's sequel at the end of the first part and now, there is an exciting update on the same. ## The sequel of the film was titled Salaar: Part 2 - Shouryanga Parvam and the makers have been saying that it will go on floors soon. Actor Bobby Simha, who played a key role in the movie, has revealed in an interview (via 123telugu.com) that Salaar 2 will be on floors in April 2024. ## Producer Vijay Kiragandur confirmed in a recent interview that they are planning to start the filming as soon as possible for a grand release in 2025. Box Office: 'Hanuman' Completes 50 Days With Blockbuster Collection

Hyderabad, March 2 - Director Prasanth Varma's superhero movie Hanuman has been in theatres for more than 50 days, a remarkable achievement for a film that was released with limited expectations. The movie's box office performance also made makers pause its digital release, something which is rare for a South Indian movie nowadays. ## Starring Teja Sajja, Hanuman was released on January 12 during the Sankranthi festival along with a couple of other movies on either date. The movie initially faced challenges in getting desired screens in Telugu states as it wasn't a big film compared to other movies released during the same period. ## To overcome the challenges, Hanuman needed solid audience word-of-mouth and once it happened, it looked unstoppable. Blockbuster 'Hanuman' Crosses 200 Crore India Net Collection

Hyderabad, February 26 - Director Prashanth Varma's blockbuster Hanuman has crossed 200 crores net collection at the domestic box office, becoming the first Telugu and second Indian film of 2024 to achieve the feat. ## Starring Teja Sajja, the superhero movie hit the milestone of 200 crores net in its 7th weekend and currently stands at around 200.30 crores net in all languages. The Telugu version of the film is leading by a huge margin over other languages with around 144 crores, followed by the Hindi version with 52 crores net. ## The Hindi version of the movie has yielded a big surprise at the box office as it is only the 11th South Indian film to mint 50 crores net or more in this particular language. The other languages, including Malayalam, Kannada, and Tamil, have made around 4 crores net. ## Hanuman will almost finish nearly 300 crores gross at the worldwide box office. The movie has scored an estimated 293.30 crores gross, including 236.50 crores domestically and 56.80 crores at the overseas box office in 45 days. ## As reported earlier, Hanuman is the highest-grossing Telugu movie of all time released in January, beating Allu Arjun's Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo which grossed approximately 269 crores in 2020. Nani's 'Saripodhaa Sanivaaram' Official Release Date Locked

Hyderabad, February 24 - Telugu star Nani's much-awaited Pan India movie Saripodhaa Sanivaaram gets the official theatrical release date. Directed by Vivek Athreya, the movie also has Priyanka Arulmohan as the female lead alongside SJ Suryah. ## Nani has been in top form after scoring two hits last year in the form of Dasara and Hi Nanna.
