Ram Charan's Box Office Disaster Film 'Orange' Does Very Well After Re-Release

Hyderabad, April 11 - Telugu superstar Ram Charan's romantic-comedy Orange (2010) has done very well upon its limited re-release. Directed by Bhaskar, Orange was a disaster in its original run, however, it later gained a cult status and has been people's favorite. ## It was recently re-released on limited screens on the occasion of Ram Charan's birthday, and thanks to the immense popularity it gained over the years, Orange did really well as it grossed approx. 3.50 crores. In Telugu states, it grossed approx. 3.15 crores and turned successful. ## Orange re-release took the opening of approx. 1.40 crores worldwide and remains steady over the week to post good numbers for an occasional release. The earning of the movie will go to charity work. ## Produced by Geetha Arts, the movie stars Ram Charan, Genelia D'Souza, and Shazahn Padamsee, while Prabhu and Prakash Raj play supporting roles. Nani's Dasara Crossed 100 Crores Gross At The Worldwide Box Office

Hyderabad, April 8 - Natural star Nani and Keerthy Suresh-fronted period action drama film Dasara has crossed the 100 crores gross mark at the worldwide box office, becoming the first film of Nani to reach the milestone. ## Directed by Srikanth Odela, Dasara crossed the 100 crores mark on its 8th day and has so far grossed approx. 106 crores worldwide (10 days). At the domestic box office, the movie has minted approx. 86 crores, including approx. 68 crores in Telugu states. ## Dasara was a multi-lingual release, however, it failed to create any impact other than the Telugu language in which it has so far collected approx. 80 crores gross while other languages have contributed around 6 crores gross. ## At the overseas box office, Dasara has scored around 20 crores gross so far. Ram Charan Was Not The First Choice of Director Shankar For 'Game Changer'

Hyderabad, April 6 - Telugu superstar Ram Charan is busy with the shooting of his much-awaited political action thriller film Game Changer with director Shankar. However, it has now been revealed that Charan wasn't his first choice for the movie. ## During a recent interview with Mirchi9, producer Dil Raju revealed that director Shankar wanted to make the movie with superstar Pawan Kalyan. SSMB28: Mahesh Babu's Film With Director Trivikram Gets Postponed?

Hyderabad, March 25 - Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu's film with director Trivikram Srinivas is unlikely to release on initially announced August 11, 2023.## Tentatively titled SSMB28, the movie is currently being filmed at a brisk pace and was on track for its August release. However, over the last few days, there have been rumors doing rounds about the postponement after Megastar Chiranjeevi's "Bholaa Shankar" got announced for Independence Day week release. ## It is said that the makers are now looking to release "SSMB28" either in October on the occasion of Dussehra or Sankranthi 2024. Mahesh Babu is said to be in the favor of Sankranthi's 2024 release. The last film of Mahesh Babu to release on Sankranthi was "Sarileru Neekevvaru" (2020) and it was a blockbuster with a worldwide gross collection of over 200 crores.## Produced by Harika and Hasini Creations, "SSMB28", however, will have to face stiff competition if it arrives on Sankranthi 2024. The Prabhas-fronted mega movie "Project K" is already scheduled to release during that time and there might be a couple of more big films attempting to grab that festive slot, which remains to see.## The film has Pooja Hegde as the female lead and she reunites with Babu after their blockbuster "Maharshi". Superstar Jr. NTR To Collaborate With Producer Bhushan Kumar of T-Series?

Mumbai, March 24 - Producer Bhushan Kumar of T-Series is going after Telugu superstars to set up Pan India projects. The producer already has a number of films in the pipeline and he recently announced a mega-budget project featuring superstar Allu Arjun under the direction of Sandeep Reddy Vanga. ## Bhushan Kumar is already working on a couple of films with Prabhas, and now, as per the latest reports, the Big Bull is in talks with another Telugu giant Jr. NTR. The producer was reportedly seen attending the Muhurat ceremony of Jr. NTR's film with Koratala Siva "NTR 30" on Thursday which sparked rumors. ## According to Pinkvilla, the producer has been discussing a big Pan India project with Jr. NTR. It is to be noted that the T-Series head was in Hyderabad a few weeks ago where he met with some of the biggest Telugu superstars and Jr. NTR was one of them. PKSDT: Pawan Kalyan and Sai Dharam Tej-Fronted Telugu Remake of 'Vinodhaya Sitham' Gets A Release Date

Hyderabad, March 24 - Telugu superstar Pawan Kalyan and Sai Dharam Tej fronted the Telugu remake of Vinodhaya Sitham is set to hit big screens on July 28, 2023. ## Tentatively titled PKSDT, it is a remake of the Tamil film "Vinodhaya Sitham". Pawan Kalyan's 'Ustaad Bhagat Singh' With Director Harish Shankar To Go On Floors On April 5

Hyderabad, March 24 - Telugu superstar Pawan Kalyan's long-delayed action drama film Ustaad Bhagat Singh with director Harish Shankar is finally moving ahead. ## It was announced in September 2020 under the title of "Bhavadeeyudu Bhagat Singh", but due to some issues, it was reportedly shelved. The duo of PSPK and Harish revived the project with the title "Ustaad Bhagat Singh" late last year. ## Now, as per the latest reports, the much-awaited film will commence filming on April 5 this year. It was reported that "Ustaad Bhagat Singh" is a remake of the Tamil title "Theri", however, director Harish Shankar recently revealed that it is a fresh story and not a remake. ## The movie will be produced by Mythri Movie Makers and the music will be composed by Rockstar DSP. It marks the second collaboration of Pawan Kaylan and Harish Shankar.
