Katrina Kaif, Ishaan Khatter, And Siddhant Chaturvedi Will Star In A Horror Comedy 'Phone Bhoot'

Actor Farhan Akhtar's today (July 20) announced that Katrina Kaif, Ishaan Khatter, and Siddhant Chaturvedi will be star in a movie titled 'Phone Bhoot' under his production house Excel Entertainment. Produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar, the film is scheduled to release in 2021 and filming will begin later this year. ## Phone Bhoot is Siddhant Chaturvedi's second film with Excel Entertainment after his debut movie Gully Boy. According to the report, Akshay chose this film first as it doesn’t require scenes that need a lot of crowd or high-end action sequences. ## Later, he will resume work on Prithviraj Chauhan with YRF, which shoot was halted by the coronavirus pandemic. According to reports in the daily, the makers are in no hurry to finish it as it is a historical movie and requires a certain scale. So, Akshay plans to shoot it by October end. ## After Prithviraj Chauhan, the actor has Anand L Rai's Atrangi Re, co-starring Sara Ali Khan, and Dhanush. For this film, Akshay Kumar is required to shoot for two weeks. He will allot the dates once the shooting kickstarts.## After Atrangi Re, the 52-year old finally, will start work on Sajid Nadiadwala's Bachchan Pandey by December-January. "He has a team in place to ensure that all SOPs are strictly followed by everyone. Safety will be the priority on the set," said a source to the daily. ## Next year, Akshay Kumar to work with Ekta Kapoor for an action-comedy film which is a remake of a Telugu film. Later, he will collaborate with Maneesh Sharma for an untitled project.## As of now, his cop drama movie with the director Rohit Shetty is ready to hit the theaters on Diwali while his Laxmmi Bomb will directly release on Disney Plus Hotstar soon. ## Along with above all the projects, there are some strong rumors that Akshay Kumar might see in Yash Raj Film's (YRF) Dhoom 4 in which he will play the lead antagonist. Ali Abbas Zafar's two-part superhero film with Katrina Kaif will be made as an original Netflix film!

Recently in an interview, filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar confirmed that he is planning to make a superhero film series that will begin with Katrina Kaif's film. Now, the movie with Katrina Kaif said to be a two-part film that will directly premiere on Netflix as a Netflix Original Film to which the streaming platform has sanctioned Rs 80 to 85 crore to the director for the first part of the movie. ## A leading portal revealed that Ali Abbas Zafar was keen to make the film for the big screen but lack of funds forced him to go for the OTT platform.## "It's a massive film mounted on a never seen before scale for a female protagonist. Ali was very keen on making it as a feature film for the big screen, but he wasn’t able to raise the funds that were needed, following which he decided to go the OTT way. Actor Varun Dhawan who played the role of a dancer in movies like ABCD 2 and Street Dancer 3D has come into the rescue for the Bollywood background dancers who have been hit severely hard by the COVID-19 pandemic.
