Akshay Kumar Files Defamation Suit Against YouTuber Rashid Siddiqui Who Alleged Him of Helping Rhea Chakraborty Escape To Canada

Bollywood superstar, Akshay Kumar has filed a whopping Rs. 500 crore defamation suit against a YouTuber who named him in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case. The actor served a defamation suit against YouTuber Rashid Siddiqui who hails from Bihar.## Earlier he was arrested by the police for spreading fake news and dragging the name of Maharashtra's CM Uddhav Thackeray and his son Aaditya Thackeray in the case. ## As reported in India.com, Siddiqui alleged in his videos that Akshay Kumar helped accused Rhea Chakraborty escape to Canada and also had secret talks with Uddhav and Aaditya about SSR's death. The YouTuber also said that the actor was unhappy with Sushant bagging MS Dhoni: The Untold Story. ## It has been reported that from the last few months, Siddiqui's YouTube channel grew immensely from 1 lakh to over 3.70 lakh subscribers and he had earned over Rs 15 lakh in four months for his content in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case. The 25-year-old is a civil engineer and owns a YouTube channel titled FF News. ## Recently, Shiv Sena's legal cell advocate Dharmendra Mishra filed a case against the Siddiqui too, after which the police came into action and found out that he allegedly using the SSR death case to increase his followers and earn more money.## Siddiqui's earnings were hardly around Rs 300 in the month of May and in September, he earned a massive approx. Laxmii Review: Public Reaction On Akshay Kumar And Kiara Advani Starrer

The Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani starrer, Laxmii is finally streaming on Disney+Hotstar. The Raghava Lawrence directorial is the remake of his own Tamil hit Kanchana. Produced by Akshay Kumar's Cape of Good Films, Fox Star Studios, and Tusshar Kapoor, Laxmi also features Ashwini Kalsekar, Sharad Kelkar, Manu Rishi, and Ayesha Raza.## Laxmii (earlier titled Laxmmi Bomb) ditched theatrical release due to the covid-19 pandemic. Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari To Release On 15 November In Theaters; Becomes The First Hindi Film To Come Out Post Reopening of Cinemas

While most of the top filmmakers are competing to release their films on over-the-top (OTT) platforms, the makers of the upcoming satirical comedy-drama film, Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari have decided to go for the theatrical release.## Directed by Abhishek Sharma, Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari is scheduled to release theatrically on 15 November 2020, coinciding with Diwali. The Manoj Bajpayee, Diljit Dosanjh, and Fatima Sana Shaikh starrer becomes the first Hindi film to come out post the reopening of cinemas.## Speaking about the theatrical release of the film, director Abhishek Sharma said that OTT platforms are the "death of cinema". ## "I've never been okay with a digital release, my thoughts on this are well known.
