Jacqueline Fernandez Stopped From Leaving India At Mumbai Airport In Money Laundering Case

Mumbai, December 5 - Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez is getting into trouble over Rs. 200 crores money laundering case. On Sunday (December 5), Jacqueline was stopped at Mumbai Airport by immigration authorities. She wasn't arrested but dispatched back home and might be questioned at the ED office in Delhi. ## The airport security forces were acting on a lookout circular issued by Enforcement Directorate (ED). The Enforcement Directorate had opened a LOC against the actress in the Sukesh Chandrasekar case. She, after completing the shooting schedule of Ram Setu in Diu, had returned and is to participate in Salman Khan's Da-bangg tour to be held on December 10 in Riyadh.## Jacqueline has been questioned at least twice and was even questioned for 7 hours, by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with the Rs 200 crore extortion case involving conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar and his wife, actor Leena Maria Paul. Box Office: Sooryavanshi Crosses '2.0' After Putting A Strong Show

Mumbai, December 2 - Akshay Kumar-fronted "Sooryavasnhi" is marching alone at the box office and attracting footfalls even towards the end of the 4th week and in between the competition with Salman Khan-starrer "Antim: The Final Truth".## The Rohit Shetty-directed cop drama netted an estimated 51 lakh on its 27th day (4th Wednesday), taking its total India net collection to Rs. 190.87 crores. The Wednesday collection helps "Sooryavanshi" to cross the lifetime total of "2.0" (Hindi), which netted 190.48 crores. Akshay played an antagonist the sci-fi actioner against protagonist Rajinikanth. It becomes Akshay's 4th highest-earning film at the Indian box office and will most probably finish with that spot.## Surpassing "2.0's" Hindi total is a big achievement for the makers considering the fact that it was released amid the covid-19 pandemic with 50% theater capacity in Maharasthra and some of the other states. Overseas, it has grossed approx ₹ 5.70 crores so far, taking its worldwide gross total to ₹ 31.50 crores. Box Office: Salman Khan's 'Antim' Jumps On Sunday To Finish The Opening Weekend On A Decent Note

Mumbai, November 28 - Superstar Salman Khan's extended screen presence in "Antim: The Final Truth" has helped the film to end the opening weekend on a decent note at the box office. Directed by Mahesh Manjrekar, "Antim" opened over this weekend on Friday (November 26). ## With Aayush Sharma and Mahima Makawana in the lead roles, the movie netted ₹ 5.03 cr on Friday (slightly lower than expected). The strong word of mouth and positive critics reviews came to the party as the movie jumped by 19.88% (₹ 6.03) on Saturday and then by 25.21% on Sunday for ₹ 7.55 crores, for a 3-day total of ₹ 18.61 crores.## While the producers won't be too disappointed with the box office outcome of "Antim" so far, it was, however, expected to do much more than it actually did. The family audience is still hesitating to visit theaters despite the positive trend towards cinema-going. ## Meanwhile, on the other hand, John Abraham-starrer "Satyameva Jayate 2", which was released a day earlier on November 25, performed low over the opening weekend for an estimated 4-day total of ₹ 10.45 Cr. Despite seeing a slight jump on Sunday, the sequel to 2018's film fell well short of what the producers had expected from it at the box office. ## Yash Raj Films' "Bunty Aur Babli 2", is another film that didn't find its audience and was rejected at the box office. Starring Saif Ali Khan, Rani Mukerji, Sharvari Wagh, and Siddhant Chaturvedi, the sequel to 2005's hit film, netted just ₹ 11.9 crores in the opening week in India, starting from November 19.
