Director Siddharth Anand Reacts On Crazy Buzz For Shah Rukh Khan's 'Pathaan'

Mumbai, March 10 - Director Siddharth Anand is working on his biggest film to date, Shah Rukh Khan-fronted "Pathaan". The Yash Raj Films' spy action-thriller went on floors in late 2020 and is now, gearing up to shoot the final leg of filming.## Even though the movie has been in development since 2020, YRF recently made the official announcement with the release date. From the early days of production, "Pathan" has been in the news, and buzz around it kept going up with each passing day. After the release date announcement, the fans of SRK go crazy and gave a thundering response. ## Reacting to the crazy buzz and SRK's loyal fandom, Siddharth Anand said in a recent interview that the movie has been designed as the biggest action spectacle of the Hindi cinema. He said that the team knew that fans have been waiting for the announcement for a long time, so the date announcement had to be big. ## "Pathaan", which is slated to hit screens on January 25th, 2023, in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, also stars John Abraham and Deepika Padukone in prominent roles. Anand believes that it is a big responsibility for the team to justify everything that involves Shah Rukh Khan. ## "We have the most loved superstar of our generation, Shah Rukh Khan, with us. It is an honour and a responsibility for all of us. He was, however, in talks to play RAW agent Ravindra Kaushik in director Raj Kumar Gupta's "Black Tiger", but with no development on the film yet, the project has reportedly been shelved. ## Raj Kumar Gupta has been making his best efforts to bring Ravindra Kaushik's life to the big screen since 2018 and even approached many A-list Bollywood stars before it lent to Salman, who reportedly agreed to play and also produce the film. According to the latest development, the filmmaker has shelved the project and he doesn't see any development on it anytime soon. ## "Raj Kumar Gupta has called off the Black Tiger project. The rights to unfold Ravindra Kaushik’s emotional and remarkable story to the big screen that he had bought five years ago from his family has expired now. Mumbai, March 9 - Alia Bhatt is now the new box office QUEEN! "Gangubai Kathiawadi", a biographical drama, has officially entered Rs. 100 crores net club after an estimated Rs. 3 crores on the second Wednesday, pushing total domestic net to Rs. 102.64 crores. The Sanjay Leela Bhansali-directed took just 13 days to reach the box office milestone, the second-fastest for a solely woman-led film. Mumbai, March 3 - It has been a dream comeback for Alia Bhatt on the big screen with "Gangubai Kathiawadi", after taking a direct-to-digital route for her previous movie, "Sadak 2".## Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, "Gangubai Kathiawadi" has become the first Bollywood, and third Indian movie of 2022 to score a century at the worldwide box office. It has been unstoppable at the box office since its launch on February 25 and scored the milestone in just 6 days. ## On Wednesday, the biographical drama film earned Rs. 6.21 crores net at the Indian box office, pushing total domestic cume to Rs. 63.53 crores net (Rs. 75 crores gross). Overseas, it has so far grossed approx. Rs. 26 crores, helping the film's worldwide total to reach Rs. 101 crores, becoming the 9th film for Alia to reach the milestone. ## "Gangubai Kathiawadi" is currently Alia Bhatt's 10th highest-grossing film at the domestic box office.
