On Saturday (July 31), the first look poster of his upcoming film, Sarkaru Vaari Paata, was released and it got an unpreceded response from his fans.
Directed by Parasuram, the first look poster of the film becomes the most liked and retweeted poster of the Tollywood film industry on Twitter in the first 24 hours. The poster got 95.6K likes and 49.1K retweets within 24 hours of its release, which is a record in TFI for a first look.
A new glimpse of Mahesh Babu from the film will be released on his birthday on August 9.
Sarkaru Vaari Paata marks Mahesh Babu's first collaboration with Geetha Govindam director Parasuram. The film also stars Keerthy Suresh as the female lead apart from Vennela Kishore, and Subbaraju in supporting roles.
The movie is produced by Naveen Yerneni, Y. Ravi Shankar, Ram Achanta, and Gopichand Achanta under the banners of Mythri Movie Makers, 14 Reels Plus, and Mahesh Babu's G. Mahesh Babu Entertainment.
The music of the film is composed by S. Thaman, with cinematography performed by R. Madhi and editing done by Marthand K. Venkatesh. Sarkaru Vaari Paata will be competing with Prabhas' Radhe Shyam at the box office. Radhe Shyam will release on January 14.
