Mumbai, May 25, 2021: Shah Rukh Khan's comeback movie, tentatively titled "Pathan" has been in media reports, even though the movie is yet to be officially announced. The movie marks the big-screen debut of SRK after more than 2 years.
The movie is set to be made on a grand scale with Salman Khan also having a strong cameo role. The duo of SRK and Salman are reuniting after SRK's Zero, and Salman's entry in Pathan is reportadly planned through a helicopter scene.
Directed by Siddharth Anand, Pathan also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in the leading roles. The movie had gone on floors last year with nearly 70% of the shoot is reportadly completed after India and Dubai schedule. The makers had planned to wrap up the shoot by June this year but it had to be halted because of the second wave of the COVID pandemic.
Now, according to reports, the shooting of Pathan will resume from June 21 in the Yash Raj Films' studio in Mumbai before a long overseas schedule. Recently, Deepika also returned to Mumbai from Bangalore to prepare for Pathan's shoot. The crew has also been reportadly confirmed the shooting schedule, COVID test, and vaccination updates.
Pathan was originally planned for Diwali 2021 release, however, due to the pandemic and postponement of other Bollywood biggies to later this year, Pathan is said to be making its debut on the big screen in the first quarter of 2022.
