Mumbai, June 26, 2021: Lady superstar of South Indian cinema, Nayanthara is reportadly set to make her grand Bollywood debut after ruling South cinema for more than fifteen years.
According to the latest development in the Hindi film industry, Nayanthara has been roped in to play the female lead opposite superstar Shah Rukh Khan in director Atlee's film.
Atlee is one of the leading film directors in Tamil cinema, who has directed films like Mersal, Bigil, and two more. Nayanthara has already worked with Atlee in Raja Rani and Bigil, and she is said to be the first choice of director for SRK's film.
Shah Rukh Khan is also said to have given his nod for Nayanthara as she has an amazing pull in the South and is also quite popular among many fans in the North.
Shah Rukh Khan is currently shooting for his upcoming film, Pathan, which also marks his comeback in films after nearly 3 years. After Pathan, if all goes well, SRK will begin Atlee's film by the end of the year or early 2022 with Nayan as the female lead.
Nayan, on the other hand, has multiple films in the pipeline including Rajinikanth's Annaatthe, and Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal with Vijay Sethupathi, and Samantha Akkineni.
