On the 4th death anniversary of Jayaram Jayalalithaa - fondly remembered as Jaya Amma, Kangana Ranaut has shared stills from her biography film, Jayalalithaa, and paid tribute to the revolutionary leader.
"On the death anniversary of Jaya Amma, sharing some working stills from our film Thalaivi- the revolutionary leader. All thanks to my team, especially the leader of our team Vijay sir who is working like a super human to complete the film, just one more week to go", Kangana tweeted along with sharing pictures.
Thalaivi is based on the life of late Jayalalithaa, who had appeared in 140 films in Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada languages and also served six times as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu for over fourteen years between 1991 and 2016.
Kangana is currently shooting in Hyderabad for Thalaivi which is being directed by A. L. Vijay. The movie is being simultaneously shot in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages under the same title. It is produced by Vishnu Vardhan Induri and Shailesh R. Singh under the banners of Vibri Media and Karma Media And Entertainment.
Apart from Kangana as Jayalalithaa, the film also stars Prakash Raj, Arvind Swami, Jisshu Sengupta, Madhoo, Poorna, and Bhagyashree in the key roles.
