The superhero film, starring Chris Hemsworth and Natali Portman, scored in the expected line, an estimated 24-25 crores gross on its first day. The opening of the film, however, is lower than "Doctor Strange 2" which opened to 36+ crores.
The original English version was the best-performing language in India on an opening day with an estimated 13 crores gross, followed by Hindi with 7 crores gross. The other versions, including Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada scored approx. 4-5 crores gross.
The opening weekend of "Thor 4" is currently tracking to earn 80-85 crores gross in 4 days in India.
