Based on true facts scored a blockbuster first week, scoring Rs. 97.30 crores net. It would have created history had it entered Rs. 100 crores club in the first week itself, but fell an inch short to reach the milestone.
TKF kept on showing an upward trend throughout the first week after taking an opening of Rs. 3.55 crores on Friday. On Thursday (7th day), the movie took a slight dip of 5.25% for Rs. 18.05 crores, closing the first week on high.
The Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri-directed will enter Rs. 100 crores club on the second Friday and will become the first film of the national awardee to reach the milestone. It will also become the 97th Hindi movie to cross Rs. 100 crores net mark.
