Tripti Dimri To Play The Female Lead Opposite Prabhas In Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga's 'Spirit'

Hyderabad, May 24 - Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga's highly anticipated cop action thriller Spirit has been in the news for the last few days regarding the female lead, and the maverick filmmaker has finally officially locked the one to romance Pan India superstar Prabhas.

On Saturday (May 24), Sandeep Reddy Vanga announced on social media that Tripti Dimri has been locked to play the female lead in his next, putting an end to the months of speculation. It was reported that Deepika Padukone was supposed to be the leading lady, but she exited the film for some reason.



Spirit marks Tripti's second film with Sandeep Vanga after Animal (2023) and her first film with Prabhas. The film will feature a big ensemble cast, and the makers will make official announcements for the same in due course.

The upcoming film will be produced by T-Series and Bhadrakali Pictures. The shoot of the movie is expected to begin in September/October this year, and it will be released in multiple national and international languages.
