Sunny Deol's 'Border 2' Shoot To Begin On November 25 In Jammu and Kashmir
Mumbai, September 17 - The Sunny Deol-fronted epic war movie Border 2 recently confirmed actors Varun Dhawan and Diljit Dosanjh on board to play the pivotal roles. The hugely-anticipated sequel will be directed by Anurag Singh and Bhushan Kumar of T-Series and JP Dutta joining hands to produce it.
The pre-production work on Border 2 has been going on for the last year and now, according to the report by Pinkvilla, the movie is set to start rolling by November 25. It is said that director Anurag Singh and his team are all set to start the recce for the film within a week, and the first two locations they have zeroed down on are Jammu and Srinagar.
The movie will be shot in real locations in and around the special armed forces areas near the borders of India to give a rustic feel to the film. The makers are leaving no stone unturned to make a high-octane and at the same time, an authentic war movie that can make the audience proud and celebrate the legacy of the first movie.
Border 2 will be shot over 6 months till May 2025 as the movie announced for January 23, 2026, release during the Republic Day weekend. It is easily one of the biggest Indian films in the making, and if it matches part one or gets anywhere near it, then the sky is the limit as far as box office is concerned.
