Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao's 'Stree 2' Opening Day Box Office Records

Mumbai, August 16 - It was a record-smashing start for Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao-fronted horror-comedy Stree 2 which came above estimates to score over 50 crores net on the first day, excluding Wednesday previews.

Directed by Amar Kaushik, the sequel to Stree and the fifth movie in Maddock Supernatural Universe, Stree 2 created several records with its opening day collection which is an estimated 51.80 crores net and including previews of 8.50 crores net, the first-day collection was 60+ crores net.
