Shahid Kapoor's Action Thriller Film With Director Vishal Bhardwaj Gets A Release Date; Full Cast Details Also Revealed

Mumbai, December 18 - Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor is reuniting with director Vishal Bhardwaj for an action thriller film, not titled yet. The movie is to be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under his banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and the official announcement of the same was made on Wednesday, December 18.

Announcing the film, the production house unveiled the entire main cast which includes Triptii Dimri as the female lead with Randeep Hooda and Nana Patekar in the prominent roles. The makers also confirmed that the shoot of this untitled film will start on January 6 and it will be released in theaters worldwide on December 5, 2025.



The upcoming film marks Shahid and Vishal Bhardwaj's third film together after critically acclaimed Haider and Kaminey. The film is reportedly based on the life of gangster Hussain Ustara which was earlier supposed to be made with the late Irrfan Khan and Deepika Padukone.

Meanwhile, Shahid will next be seen in the cop action thriller Deva, which is scheduled to be released on January 31, 2025. The actor also has romantic-comedy Cocktail 2 with Maddock Films which will start filming in May next year after wrapping Bhardwaj's action thriller.
