Salman Khan Seemingly Teases The First Look of His Upcoming Film In His Latest Social Media Post
Mumbai, July 4 - Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has been quietly prepping for his upcoming film, reportedly set against the backdrop of the 2020 Galwan Valley clash between Indian and Chinese troops. The actor is said to be portraying the late Colonel B. Santosh Babu, the commanding officer of the 16 Bihar Regiment, who heroically led Indian soldiers during the conflict.
Although the film is yet to be officially announced, recent developments suggest the project is well underway. On Friday, July 4, Salman Khan took to the social media platform X to share a new picture that has fueled speculation. In the image, the superstar can be seen in a casual blue T-shirt, standing in what appears to be a study room or office. But what caught fans' attention was a poster in the background — allegedly the first look of the upcoming film.
The poster partially reveals Salman's face in a military-themed design. Adding to the intrigue, Salman captioned the post with an inspirational line, "Mehnat karo sahi disha mein. Unhi par woh meherbaan, aur banayega unhi ko unke hunar ka pehelwan. (Work hard in the right direction. He will be kind to them and will make them wrestlers of their skills.)
Fans quickly picked up on the poster hint and flooded the comments section with excitement, expressing eagerness to watch the patriotic drama unfold on the big screen. The yet-to-be-titled film will be directed by Apoorva Lakhia, known for directing "Shootout at Lokhandwala", among others.
The shoot for the movie is expected to begin soon. Meanwhile, Salman was last seen in AR Murugadoss's action drama Sikandar, which underperformed at the global box office, earning below ₹200 crore and being labelled a commercial flop. Fans are now hoping the upcoming Galwan film marks a strong comeback for the superstar.
