Salman Khan In Talks To Do A Period Action Thriller Film After Battle of Galwan; Details Revealed

Mumbai, August 5 - Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is gearing up to start shooting for the director Apoorva Lakhia's war action thriller Battle of Galwan this month. It will start with a 30-day schedule in Ladakh. But before starting the shoot, the superstar is busy discussing his next films.

According to the latest report by Pinkvilla, the Bajrangi Bhaijaan star's next movie after Battle of Galwan could be a period action thriller with Malayalam director Mahesh Narayanan. The duo has already done 4-5 meetings, and things are said to be in the advanced stage.



"Salman Khan and Mahesh Narayanan have been jamming on multiple ideas, and Salman has given a go-ahead to the filmmaker on a period thriller with action. The film in discussion will be set in the 1970s to 1990s, and Mahesh will now come back for a full-length narration soon", said the report.

After doing routine masala entertainers, Salman is looking to explore new genres now, which challenge him in his next films. Battle of Galwan is one such film, followed by Mahesh Narayanan's period thriller, which is expected to be officially finalised before the year's end.

Apart from Mahesh Narayanan, Salman is also in talks with Kabir Khan for a possible collaboration. The duo is discussing multiple ideas, including the sequel to Bajrangi Bhaijaan. While nothing is confirmed yet, both Salman and Kabir Khan have a definite intent to reunite for their 4th collaboration, after Ek Tha Tiger, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, and Tubelight.
