SSMB29: A Key Plot Detail Revealed For SS Rajamouli's Next With Mahesh Babu

Hyderabad, March 11 - Maverick director SS Rajamouli's hugely anticipated film with superstar Mahesh Babu has recently commenced filming in Hyderabad. The film has India's international star Priyanka Chopra as the female lead while Malayalam star Prithviraj Sukumaran plays the antagonist.

As reported earlier, SSMB29 is a jungle adventure epic which will reportedly be made in two parts on a budget of 1000 crores. Now, a key detail regarding the plot of the film has emerged which indicates the roots of it in Indian history.



According to the report by Pinkvilla, the core premise of SSMB29 is set against the backdrop of Kashi which leads to an unforgettable adventure in the present. Kashi serves as a very important character in the film. It is said that the makers are looking to recreate the land of Shiva in Hyderabad, as it's logistically difficult to can a film of this scale at real locations.

The movie will be filmed in real locations as well as the massively mounted sets. Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj have already started shooting for the film while Priyanka Chopra has reportedly joined the team today in Odisha where key forest sequences are being filmed.

The official announced of the movie is expected to be made soon and it will have a grand release in 2027 worldwide.
