Makers Announce Heavily Discounted Ticket Prices of Blockbuster 'Kalki 2898 AD' For One Week

Hyderabad, August 2 - Mega blockbuster Kalki 2898 AD has been in theatres for more than five weeks with the blockbuster collection of an estimated 1030 crores at the worldwide box office. It is the biggest blockbuster of the year and is only the Indian movie of all time to top 1000 crores worldwide.

With the box office trend slowing down and the competition increasing, the makers have announced a heavily discounted ticket price offer to the moviegoers to stay in the race for a couple of weeks more. Vyjayanthi Movies announced Kalki 2898 AD tickets at just Rs. 100 for one week, starting on August 2nd across India in all versions.



The offer should attract the moviegoers for, at least, one more week though it is unlikely to make a major difference in the overall box office collection. As said, Kalki 2898 AD has done what was expected from it to emerge as one of the biggest Indian grossers of all time.

Directed by Nag Ashwin and produced by Vyjayanthi Movies, the movie stars Prabhas alongside Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, and Disha Patani, in the key roles. It is the first instalment in the planned Kalki Universe with the second movie expected to be released in 2026 or 2027.
