Lyca Productions Confirms Release Date of Kamal Haasan and Director Shankar's 'Indian 3'

Chennai, July 12 - One of the most anticipated movies of the year, Indian 2 starring Kamal Haasan finally hits the big screen on July 12 after going through many delays and postponements due to unavoidable circumstances over the last few years.

Directed by Shankar, Indian 2 is the sequel to his 1996 vigilante action thriller with Haasan, and as known to everyone, the sequel has been split into two parts. While Indian 2 has been released, Lyca Productions has also confirmed the release date of Indian 3.



As per the industry insiders, the production house has confirmed to the exhibitors that Indian 3 will be released in January 2025. The trailer of the same has been attached to the prints of Indian 2 in theatres as a post-credit scene.

Produced by Subaskaran Allirajah of Lyca Productions, Indian 2 stars Kamal Haasan, reprising his role as Senapathy, an ageing freedom fighter turned vigilante who fights against corruption, with Siddharth, S. J. Suryah, Rakul Preet Singh, Bobby Simha, Vivek, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Gulshan Grover, Samuthirakani and Nedumudi Venu in the ensemble cast.
