Here is the list of the world's heritage sites by country.

As of August 2022, a total of 1,154 World Heritage sites are located in 167 country parties (countries that have adhered to the World Heritage Convention, including non-member states of the Holy See), of which 897 are cultural, 218 are natural and 39 are mixed properties.
