Delhi Daredevils finally managed to win a match with yet another last-ball finish in IPL 2018 over Mumbai Indians in their home ground. With this third straight defeats, Mumbai Indians find themselves in the bottom of the points table.

It turned out to be Jason Roy's night, who played his first match in this IPL and also for his new team Delhi Daredevils. His sparkling knock of 91* of 53 balls including6 sixes and as many fours, showed that how much he can be valuable in terms of chasing a big total. Roy was included in DD side in place for Collin Munro, who couldn't do much in both games Daredevils had played.

Well, it was Mumbai Indians, who let the match slip from their hand. After winning the toss, Rohit Sharma chooses to bat first. At one stage, MI looked to get 220+ score but losing wickets in regular interval hurt them badly. The opening pair of Evin Lewis and Suryakumar Yadav put on massive 102-stand in just nine overs before Rahul Tewatia gets both the openers in successive overs.

Ishan Kishan played a 23-ball 44 innings and gave momentum to MI again but the double blow from Dan Christian to sent back Ishan Kishan and Kieron Pollard off consecutive deliveries robbed the MI of their momentum again. This was the time where Mumbai Indians lost complete control of their innings and after 20 overs they were restricted to 194 for 7.

In the chase, Delhi Daredevils never looked in hurdle. After putting 50 runs stand for the first wicket, Roy and Pant target Mayank Markande and IPL debutant Akila Dhanajaya. The Sri Lankan gave away 47 runs off his four overs and Mayank Markande, who had a good IPL so far, couldn't even complete his four overs and gave away 42 runs in just 3 overs.

with 11 runs needed in last over, Roy equals the score by hitting four and six on first two balls of Mustafizur Rahaman and after playing next three dot balls Roy hit the last balls in the air and completes a single and gives DD their first win.

Roy got Man Of The Match for match-winning knock.
