The spy action thriller, after recording the biggest second Friday domestically, has created history at the North American box office by surpassing the long-standing second-Friday record held by Baahubali 2 - The Conclusion.

The SS Rajamouli epic had collected $828K on its second Friday in the North America market back in 2017, a benchmark that remained untouched for years. Dhurandhar has now gone a step ahead, posting a near-$900K second-Friday gross, registering the biggest second Friday ever for an Indian film in the market.

The achievement highlights the film's extraordinary word of mouth and hold in its second week, a phase where most releases usually witness a significant dip.
