Box Office: Top 5 Biggest South Indian Grosser In The Second Week In Hindi; Kalki 2898 AD 4th

Mumbai, July 11 - Pan India superstar Prabhas-fronted Kalki 2898 AD has had a very good second week at the Hindi box office after an excellent first week. The sci-fi epic has managed to score approximately 70 crores in net collection in week two.

Directed by Nag Ashwin, Kalki 2898 AD is among the top 20 films in the biggest second week ever in Hindi and when it comes to South Indian films, the same finished as the 4th biggest second week grosser, behind SS Rajamouli's RRR.



SS Rajamouli and Prabhas' epic all-time blockbuster, Baahubali 2 - The Conclusion remains the biggest and the only 100+ crores net South Indian second-week grosser in the dubbed version, followed by Yash-fronted KGF: Chapter 2. Salaar Part 1 is the 5th in the list, making it 3 films of Prabhas in the top 5 biggest second-week scorers.

Top 5 South Indian Films In Hindi In The Second Week (Net Collection) -

1. Baahubali 2 - 143.25 crores



2. KGF Chapter 2 - 80.18 crores

3. RRR - 76 crores

4. Kalki 2898 AD - 70.40 crores



5. Salaar: Cease Fire - 41.25 crores

Interestingly, Baahubali 2 is also the biggest second-week grosser in the Hindi language for any film, followed by Sunny Deol's Gadar 2 with 134.50 crores net approx at second and Ranbir Kapoor's Animal at third with 130.75 crores net. Kalki 2898 AD is at the 17th position among all the top second-week grossers.

Kalki has minted approximately 229 crores net so far and will finish the second week with a total collection of around 233 crores net in the Hindi version. It will be topping 250 crores net in the third weekend and will eventually look to outgross RRR (272.80 crores net approx.) in its lifetime run to become the 3rd biggest South Indian grosser ever in Hindi.
