Box Office: 'Kalki 2898 AD' Nears 950 Crore Worldwide Gross After 18 Days

Mumbai, July 15 - Prabhas-starrer Kalki 2898 AD has had a good third weekend at the domestic box office with approximately 43.50 crores gross collection in all versions. This took the movie's total to 690 crores in 18 days.

Directed by Nag Ashwin, the sci-fi epic has become the 5th biggest-grosser at the Indian box office after beating Ranbir Kapoor's Animal (660 crore gross approx.) and Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan (657.50 crores gross approx.) over the third weekend. Kalki will top 700 crores in domestic gross in a couple of days.



Overseas, Kalki 2898 AD has grossed an estimated 256 crores, for a worldwide cume of 945.80 crores after the third weekend. The movie will top 950 crores by Monday to become the 7th highest-grossing Indian movie globally of all time.

The hold in the third weekend has kept Kalki 2898 AD in the race to reach the milestone of 1000 crores gross which only 6 movies have topped previously. If it reaches the milestone, it will become the second movie of Prabhas and 4th South Indian film to do so.
