Amazon Prime Video Sets Streaming Date For Varun Dhawan, Samantha Ruth Prabhu's 'Citadel: Honey Bunny'

Mumbai, August 1 - Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu have teamed up for Amazon Prime Video's spy action thriller series, Citadel: Honey Bunny, which is the Indian instalment of Hollywood's Citadel franchise from the Russo Brothers.

Citadel: Honey Bunny is directed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K., better known as Raj & DK who co-wrote it with Sita R. Menon. Produced by D2R Films, Amazon MGM Studios, and executive produced by the Russo Brothers' AGBO, the series also stars Kay Kay Menon, Simran, Saqib Saleem, Sikandar Kher, Soham Majumdar, Shivankit Parihar, and Kashvi Majmundar in key roles.



On Thursday (August 1), Amazon Prime Video unveiled the premiere date of Citadel - Honey Bunny, which is described as blending elements of a spy action thriller with a love story, set against a 1990s backdrop. Samantha is playing Honey while Varun is playing Bunny.

The release date of the show was announced at a fan event in Mumbai with a teaser. It will premiere on Prime Video globally on November 7, 2024.
