Mumbai, September 19 - Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi's much-awaited courtroom comedy drama Jolly LLB 3 has taken a promising start at the domestic box office. The film, which marks the return of the popular franchise, started on a decent note in the morning shows, but quickly picked up pace as the day progressed.

By afternoon, the film showed positive trends, and the momentum truly kicked in towards the evening and night shows, resulting in a better-than-expected first-day figure. What initially seemed like a 9-10 crore start has now shaped up into a good 12+ crore opening.
