Aamir Khan's 'Sitaare Zameen Par' Trailer Hits 50+ Million Views In The First 24 Hours

Mumbai, May 15 - Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan's much-awaited comedy drama Sitaare Zameen Par is making the right noise after the trailer's release, which is getting unanimous praise from audiences. The film is directed by R. S. Prasanna and is scheduled to release on June 20.

The trailer of Sitaare Zameen Par was launched on May 13 after getting postponed a few days from its original planned date of May 8. There was genuine curiosity among the fans, and the response to the trailer reflects the same, with fantastic viewership.



According to the makers, the SZP trailer scored 50+ million views in the first 24 hours. On Aamir Khan Talkies YouTube channel, the trailer generated 42+ million views in the first full day, making it one of the most-watched Indian film trailers on the platform.

Produced by Aamir Khan Productions, SZP is a spiritual successor to Khan's 2007 film Taare Zameen Par, and it is based on the Spanish film Champions (2018). In the film, after a DUI, an arrogant basketball coach must train Neurodivergent adults for community service. His initial prejudice fades as his players show him a new perspective on life.

Aamir Khan plays the lead role alongside Genelia Deshmukh and 10 differently abled people. It is scheduled to hit the big screen on June 20.
