Virat and Bumrah topped in ICC's latest ODI Rankings

Indian skipper Virat Kohli remained on the top spot in latest ICC MRF Tyres ODI batting Ranking with 909 points while his teammate, pacer Jasprit Bumrah topped in bowling ranking with 787 points.

England's Jason Roy, Jos Buttler and Jonny Bairstow were also the gainers in batting ranking. Roy who was the highest run-getter in recently concluded series against Australia enters in top 20 while Bairstow moved up 4 places to 11.



England's wicketkeeper-batsman Jos Buttler who was the Man Of The Series against Australia gained two positions and moved up to 16 while Alex Hales and skipper Eoin Morgan benefitted too. But their Test skipper, Joe Root didn't have good series with the bat as he had scored only 104 runs in 5 innings and resulted in, he slipped 3 spots to 6.

England's spin twin, Moeen Ali and Adil Rashid who played an important role in their 5-0 win, moved up to 13th and 9th position respectively in bowlers rankings. The duo shared 12 wickets each in 5 matches with remarkable economy rates of 5.09 and 5.60 respectively.

Australia didn't have an ideal result in terms of winning but their stand out performer Shaun Marsh, who slammed two centuries on his way to scoring 288 runs. That helped him re-enter the table at No.80, while Travis Head, who scored three half-centuries, reached a career-best 670 points, putting him at No.19, up by three spots.



Pakistan's Babar Azam moved up behind No.1 Virat Kohli, and Rohit Sharma (No.4) and Ross Taylor (No.5) gained too despite not being in action. While in bowling, Bumrah and Afghanistan's Rashid Khan moved up significantly at the top of the chart. Yuzvendra Chahal is at 8th position with 667 points.

3. David Warner (AUS) - 803 Points

4. Rohit Sharma (IND) - 799 Points

1. Jasprit Bumrah (IND) - 787 Points

2. Rashid Khan (AFG) - 763 Points

3. Hasan Ali (PAK) - 711 Points

4. Trent Boult (NZ) - 699 Points

5. Josh Hazlewood (AUS) - 696 Points
