Mahendra Singh Dhoni who proudly wore the Indian jersey number 7 for almost 16 years, took a silent way to bid adieu to the international cricket. On the evening of the Independence Day of India (August 15), one of the greatest limited-overs captains and two-time world cup winner hanged his boots and decided not to wear Indian jersey again on the cricket ground.
As soon as the news of Dhoni's retirement broke out, his teammates and the former players around the world took to social media and paid tribute remembering all the great memories they shared with MS Dhoni and his contribution to the world cricket.
Team India's current captain, Virat Kohli who played a lot of cricket under the leadership of MS Dhoni and learned the nuances of captaincy from Dhoni, paid an emotional tribute to the legendary cricketer.
