Sri Lanka and Bangladesh will face each other in the opening match on September 15 as the schedule of Asia Cup 2018 have been announced on Tuesday, July 24. The six-team tournament will be played in the United Arab Emirates.

The teams are divided into two groups. In group A, Afghanistan is paired with Sri Lanka and Bangladesh and in group B, the defending champions India is paired with Pakistan and winner of the qualifiers.

India will play their opening match against the qualifier on September 18 before a much-awaiting clash against Arch-rivals Pakistan on very next day.
