'Madness, What A Tournament': Twitter Goes Berserk As KXIP Clinch Victory Over MI In Super Over
For the first time in the history of the Indian Premier League, a game had to be decided by two Super Overs as Mohammed Shami put up a sensational display of pace bowling to outclass Jasprit Bumrah's yorker spree to defend five in the first of the one-over shootouts. Chris Jordan then conceded 11 in the second Super Over before Chris Gayle and Mayank Agarwal chased the target down off four Trent Boult deliveries.
And given that even the first game of the double-header Sunday was also tied in regular time before Kolkata Knight Riders won the super over against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Twitter went into a frenzy witnessing a thrilling finish of the Mumbai Indians and Kings XI Punjab match.
