Tamil Nadu Elections: Rajinikanth, Vijay, Ajith, And Other Celebs Cast Their Votes, See Pictures

The sixteenth legislative assembly election of Tamil Nadu is being held today on 6 April 2021 across the state. The poll is the state's first assembly election after the demises of the two most prominent Chief Ministers in its modern history, J. Jayalalithaa and M. Karunanidhi, who died in 2016 and 2018 respectively.

Superstar Rajinikanth, who recently awarded 51st Dadasaheb Phalke Award, was among the firsts to cast his vote along with Thalapathy Vijay, Thala Ajith, Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM) chief, and actor Kamal Haasan, and his daughters, Shruti Haasan and Akshara Haasan, actor brothers Suriya and Karthi Sivakumar also performed their democratic rights.
