Superstar Prabhas Adopts 1650 Acres Of Forest Land As Part Of Green India Challenge

Prabhas is one of the few actors who is not only for his on-screen work but also he is a hero for the people for his off-screen work. On Monday, the pan-India star has decided to adopt 1650 acres of reserve forest land in Khazipally urban block and donated Rs 2 crore for the development of the eco-park in the name of his late father Uppalapati Surya Narayana Raju.
The Baahubali actor along with Forest minister Allola Indrakaran Reddy and Rajya Sabha MP Joginapally Santosh Kumar laid the foundation stone for the urban forest Park. They observed the reserve forest from a temporary watchtower, later planted few saplings in the Reserve forest region.
The superstar also showed his willingness to donate more money if required to give a push to the Green India Challange which he took in June 2020. He vowed to adopt 1,000 acres of reserve forest whenever Santhosh Kumar suggests. He told at that time "I am inspired by the Keera forest development initiative of Santosh Kumar where he adopted the forest. His philosophy and his polite manner of execution have impressed me a lot".
On the work front, the actor is prepping up for the remaining portions of his upcoming multilingual movie 'Radhe Shyam' from October. Said to be a period drama, the Radha Krishna Kumar directorial is set against the backdrop of Paris in the 1920s. Pooja Hegde will play the love interest to Prabhas in the movie.
Apart from Radhe Shyam, the Saaho actor has Nag Ashwin's untitled sci-fi drama starring Deepika Padukone as the female lead and Om Raut's 3D action film 'Adipurush' which is based on the epic Ramayan in which he will portray the character of Lord Ram as Adipurush. Saif Ali Khan was recently roped in to play 'Lankesh' as an antagonist.
